Q: Can I use an email template produced by my own designers?

A: Yes the Pulsar can open HTML files so you can get your own templates designed.

 

Managing Addresses and Lists

Q: What size database can I use? How many campaigns can I create?

A: You can create as many campaigns as you like, and send them to as many people as you like. Unlike other systems we do not charge for usage.

 

Q: Can I send from my own email address?

A: Yes. PULSAR sends from your own mail server helping the email get through SPAM filters.

 

Q: If people unsubscribe will they be taken form my lists?

A: No. Pulsar only blocks any future emails being sent to the unsubscribed address. We do not physically delete any records from your database.

 

Security and Delivery

Q: How can the PULSAR help with SPAM?

A: Spam filters generally work on a 'points' system - there isn't one factor that'll get your email blocked. Much, of course, depends on the content. We have links and working relationships with all the large email providers (AOL, Hotmail etc). We also take great care to conform to their best practise guidelines and technical specifications. We also take great care to check all our clients in order to deter companies involved in spam. Our technical support team will constantly check the traffic of each client and flag up any that appear to be using spam as a form of marketing.

A: We have costs in developing the system and storing all of the report data that is used for your analysis. These come from physical data storage, network traffic, maintenance, operations and software development. We decided to use a flat fee annual licence to use the system as this will in most cases be far cheaper for our customers than paying per email. It also gives you peace of mind that you can send as many emails throughout the year as you want without having to worry about spiralling costs.

A: Once, your trial is up Pulsar customers are asked to go through our simple online licence purchase procedure. We take all major cards and PayPal.

 

Q: What online or telephone support is there to help with problems?
