Deliverability
Emails sent via your mail server from your domain are more likely to reach the recipient because the reverse DNS checks will be legitimate.
Emails are sent out one at a time reducing the likelihood of SPAM filters stopping your legitimate email when they notice bulk transmissions in a very small space of time such as with 'CC' and 'BCC' to many different email addresses at once.
